Marianne (Ojaste) Alfred

ALFRED, Marianne (née Ojaste) - Passed away on February 15th, 2009 in her 61st year, in the company of her family. She leaves behind her husband Hans, daughter Melanie with Joel, son Simon with Rebecca and granddaughter Elsie and daughter Emily with Chris. She was loved by siblings Rachel and Bill, Arne (late) and Glennys, Ove and Mary Ann, Marty and Karen, and their families. She will also be missed by her husband's family. She has left a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched, in particular at Toronto East General Hospital, where she worked as a nurse for over 30 years. Family will receive visitors at Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mount Pleasant Rd. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday, February 19. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, February 18. Donations in her memory can be made to the Toronto East General Hospital in lieu of flowers.
